Very bad. In today's computer systems, the minimum requirement to run current OS is 2GB but you will need atleast 4GB, since 2GB of RAM will be used to run your operating system (Your operating system allows you to see the things you see on the screen and do the things you do on the computer). The other 2GB is extra memory to allow you to run your applications, open up web browsers, play games, etc. If you are still using Windows XP or any legacy operating system, than 2GB of RAM will suffice.
Exen88 Says:
You only need more RAM if you do not have enough memory for the work that you do or will do. Example: You like to multitask between multiple programs or have many items opened at the same time, thus, you would need more RAM to support them all. If you just want to increase the overal performance of your system than I suggest using a compatible RAM with a much higher speed plus a low number CAS latency number.

@akash patel Oh have ram not for speed but to lest tasks run smooth. You don't need 16gb ram
Ken Smith Says:
Why do you want to add RAM. If there is no really good reason the rule of "If it isn't broken , don't fix it" applies. You don't upgrade your toaster or microwave oven so why upgrade your computer?
