I love Ron Paul. But when saw that he had lost and there was no chance of him being President any longer, I knew it'd been pointless voting for someone who had no chance.
I would've voted Romney over Obama, and although I don't like either, I KNOW what Obama has done and what he is capable of doing; I think we would have had better chances with Mitt. And if things don't change soon, I can tell you right now we're screwed. I've told this before, but my age apprently isn't convincing. Let's see.

Typical repuplicans try to claim libertarians for themselves but want to limit personal freedom. I voted Obama because I felt he was less likely to do this. Gary Johnson would have gotten my vote if he had a chance.

What's clear is you really don't know how to spread your message and come off as an internet bully, even to people who just want a clarification of your ideals. I don't know where you got your hostility from and that's ok. Good luck in life.

...We are. The only reason I vote REPUBLICAN is because the libertarian wont win. Not with the electoral college. Third parties can't win. I voted against obama because of gun rights, taxes, spending, states rights, healthcare. Is that clear enough for you.

Ok, you don't have to clarify. But this is what I am getting from you because I'm not fully understanding. You are a libertarian who does not believe in voting for the libertarian. You HATE what Obama is doing, yet you voted for him anyway. I'm getting a mixed message and that's all I wanted clarified. I wouldn't really care to argue with you. I figured we were on the same side.

No I don't need to clarify. You need to read your post that I was responding too. Here is a hint. I was talking about OBAMA'S high taxes, higher regulations, high spending...

My response meant I remember Obama saying he would exact radical change for America, but that radical change went the wrong direction. And that is why I can't vote for him. I don't know if you are saying you voted for Obama, that you can't take what Obama is doing, so you voted Romney, or you are fighting against what Obama did and are defending libertarians. :/

Do I think Ron Paul will continue to print money, spend, and regulate like he has been? Your "you" is ambiguous. Before I respond further, I need clarification. :)

I guess the Neo-Cons got their answer... It is apparent through history that 3rd parties don't typically make it or win elections. We really need to be transforming one of the parties, and the Republicans is the weakest at this point, and traditionally it has stood for the same things we do, even if now these shared beliefs are only apparent in their rhetoric.

FULL TEXT of post, written by Brittany Hemsath:
We are not afraid to lose if losing means our integrity and principles remain with us. Our numbers have tripled this election... we have already won. We have spread the message of individual liberty far and wide. Ron Paul has inspired liberty movements in Africa, Europe, and even Korea. Only a third of American colonists believed that the American Revolution was necessary, and they changed the course of history forever. It is our turn now to do the same. An election outcome will not change that. We would lay down our lives for the cause of liberty if it were required of us, and it may be. I welcome losing if the winning team is not supporting the principles that this country was founded on. But, I will not go as a lamb to the slaughter and vote for someone who my heart, my gut, and reason tells me is wrong for this country. Like Patrick Henry said, "I know not what course others will take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death." Less
