I love Ron Paul. But when saw that he had lost and there was no chance of him being President any longer, I knew it'd been pointless voting for someone who had no chance. I would've voted Romney over Obama, and although I don't like either, I KNOW what Obama has done and what he is capable of doing; I think we would have had better chances with Mitt. And if things don't change soon, I can tell you right now we're screwed. I've told this before, but my age apprently isn't convincing. Let's see.

Typical repuplicans try to claim libertarians for themselves but want to limit personal freedom. I voted Obama because I felt he was less likely to do this. Gary Johnson would have gotten my vote if he had a chance.

The answer is no. I voted Gary Johnson. Others wrote in Ron Paul... and most just didn't vote, refusing to legitimize the two party system with their vote.

...We are. The only reason I vote REPUBLICAN is because the libertarian wont win. Not with the electoral college. Third parties can't win. I voted against obama because of gun rights, taxes, spending, states rights, healthcare. Is that clear enough for you.

Ok, you don't have to clarify. But this is what I am getting from you because I'm not fully understanding. You are a libertarian who does not believe in voting for the libertarian. You HATE what Obama is doing, yet you voted for him anyway. I'm getting a mixed message and that's all I wanted clarified. I wouldn't really care to argue with you. My response meant I remember Obama saying he would exact radical change for America, but that radical change went the wrong direction. And that is why I can't vote for him. I don't know if you are saying you voted for Obama, that you can't take what Obama is doing, so you voted Romney, or you are fighting against what Obama did and are defending libertarians. :/

I guess the Neo-Cons got their answer... It is apparent through history that 3rd parties don't typically make it or win elections. We really need to be transforming one of the parties, and the Republicans is the weakest at this point, and traditionally it has stood for the same things we do, even if now these shared beliefs are only apparent in their rhetoric.
